when i jack in my sandisk 32gb ultra micro sd card, it appearing preparing for external storage. but turn out my micro sd card doesn't mount in / connected to the padfone, but the 16gb micro sd card works. after that, i try to report this issue to asus vip. they responce to me with suck answer, something more or less "in our asus official website doesn't shows the padfone can be supported up to 32gb micro sd card", this sounds like they won't take any responsible on that. so i bet one more time to buy a normal micro sd card, it actually supporting it. so i advice padfone user just buy a normal micro sd card, don't buy the sandisk ultra version. The padfone does not support it.

i remembered they did say padfone support up to 32GB mini sd. I am not sure how true is this but one thing for sure, the 16GB microsd card i have worked flawlessly on padfone.

what class is your sd card?

You could try formatting these SD cards in another filesystem...

Good to hear that they are working on it. Thanx for the info. One thing good about asus is they really care about their customer's inquiries. They really follow things up although sometimes, they can get back to you quite late

i second this thread.

i got myself a SanDisk 32Gb Ultra Class10 too.. and it was not able to mount itself into the padfone. The service ctr admitted that the device currently doesnt support high speed cards.

Im crossing my fingers abt that firmware update. I dun want to have too many Sd cards lying around.

Hi guys, I'm new to the device, I just got it yesterday (oct 9th). Is there any new about the patch for Sandisk Ultra (class 10) 32GB micro SD?
And... is it true Padfone supports even 64GB micro SD? SparkyRih said "are reported to work fine", but... did anyone of you guys try?

Thanks

I have the new san disk 64GB UHS 1 micro SD plugged in the SD car slot on the keyboard dock via SD card adaptor. Another one in a micro SD card reader (those leave and forget kind) on the USB port on the left side. Both formatted as NTFS (for putting files bigger than 4GB) and stores my full HD videos (1080p) they are all working fine. In phone microsd slot doesn't support UHS 1 speed. So the said micro SD cards won't work there. Which is weird.
