So, first of all... try to root it and make a backup! this helps a lot for dev'ing. please.

other thing is, you forgotten to unpack the update zip. inside the zip file is another one. this must be flashed.

but first of all, try debugfsroot or superonceclick and then make a full system backup.

thanks

That won't backup the entire firmware itself, o'nly it's settings and apps...

unfortunetly i haven't updaded it yet. When i started updating there was loading bar for 5 m.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9612185/20120831_031748.jpg
Then asus logo loading appear.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9612185/20120831_032834.jpg
I was waiting 1 hour then i thought my phone frozen so i took batery out.
When i turn it on again asus logo appear and it was same thing as before. This time when i was turning phone on, i was holding power + volume down, then this menu sppears:
1. Enter SD download mode
2. Factory reset
3. Exit update mode
when i picked 1st option i entered to recovery mode and i choosed reset, but after turning on phone keep updating.
When i choose 3rd option phone turns off, and countinue updating.
2nd option i havent tried.

Im stuck. Maybe i should wait longer?
the recovery menu looks like it should look.

Its better like this, rather then let a consumer hanging on a test device.

I agree

Asus couldn't tell me anything about this firmware...

It shouldn't be possible that the customer bought a Padfone with such a software version.

My guess would be that it's a mistake or someone rooted the device as it wouldn't be sold in shops this way,

I guess it is late but i just saw the video and the Asuslogtool could be useful for my pad antena not working if it isa software issue. Do you still have it installed?
