Weird.

I am now on JDQ39.TW_PadFone-10.12.3.94-0

I cannot even get it to detect the OTA update you got.

And I cannot find it on the net either.

I am hoping it might give me LTE band of 2100.

I can almost guarantee 100% that an update will not patch in a radio channel. These are generally hardware restrictions. If they used a radio that had 2100 LTE then they would have enabled it from the start.

Hi All
I upload update.zip fail on dropbox and this is a link : https://www.dropbox.com/s/deir1bj29awlhns/10.12.3.111.zip

This is a TW release!!!!

You need to restore orginal fail from /system/app and after that install update.zip

Or install update.zip and look for error
After that open update.zip fail and remove this patch from there

And Happy new 2014 year!!!

Best regards,
m.

Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing......but.....was also thinking.....with a product so brand new.....why would they make 2 NPFI's at the same time......one without just 2100mhz? SO....I wrote ASUS...just waiting on a answer. I bought my phone from Hong Kong.....came with the WW firmware....but re-flashed it to the TW.

I will keep trying.....do not want to sell this and buy new one. Only had it 2 weeks.

Ah that may be why you didn't get the OTA update. I know with Samsung phones unless you have the stock ROM on them they don't get OTA updates.

Did I screw up? I simply put the zip file on my sd card.....and booted into recovery mode......and installed it from the sd card. Went flawless.

Ummm......am I supposed to receive an error or problem? Or if everything is ok....don't worry about it?

if you root your device and remove many of Asus apps this update not install and you get error during of install .

I root my device befor get this OTA and remove many Asus and other apps from /system/app
and after receive this OTA and start update i look error for patch Asus apps.

After that i download last Ota version and extract /system/app and copy to phone and after that i install this update.

For any one which not root device there will be no problem to install this OTA

Dear All, did you find any change for battery saving options after FW update? And did you notice any difference with energy consumption after a few days of use?

xx00xx have you rooted your device? If yes, go to micron's post, do as told and you are good to go. If not, switch off and on couple times, and try manual update from Settings => About phone.

Problem is: All other apps from Asus are stil there (freezed by TB) but it looks like asus wouldn't let me update since the first try failed. I searched the device for the Update package but no luck.
In Settings i get Up to Date message
