I've just notice when my padfone was docked inside the station, the headphone jack does not support voice input/record voice and it will receive voice through the onboard mic.

and this happen on my device, not sure about others yet. can anyone confirm this?

That jack is probably connected directly to the HDMI port, whichdoes not support audio input as far as I know...
