Since I've killed my PF1 again, I'm now looking for a method that does not involve ASUS tech support to raise it from the dead. I've looked for PF1 parts on the internet, but there seem to be none available. Is there some secret source of PF1 spare parts, or does anyone from this forum have a cracked display/broken/dead device that could be broken down to get a working (!) mainboard?

Nopes, these guys seem to have no mainboards for sale, at least I couldn't find any in their list. I guess it would be included under "PCB"?

The search goes on...

Update: swapped mainboard with another padfone that had a broken screen. I wonder how long it will take me to kill this specimen.
