After the "AT&T exclusive" Padfone X launched at CES 2014, is there a sign the New Padfone Infinity will be upgraded to Snapdragon 805 (and be called the New-New Padfone Infinity)?

Used to Asus behavior, I was waiting news of a new New Infinity before the NEW Infinity was available.

Is Snapdragon 805 not good enough? Are they going to tell us Intel is better?

Well, I am also waiting for such a device! Given the current speed of Padfone release ( PFI after PF2, then NPFI, then 2 minis, then X and E), it is not impossible that a new New Padfone Infinity, or PI+, or something similar might be announced as early as MWC. Just my 2 cents tho.

If it did come out, I would surely hope for a S805 processor. Not really fancying that qcore 2.5 GHz (it's more than enough already, and would eat batt...) but quite interested in Adreno 420, for long term gaming capabilities.

The current occasional lag in station mode might be better addressed with this GPU too.

I personally do also hope for a 2K screen on the station (not the phone). And if the station could go up to 11.6, it would make reading full sized pdf a bit easier too.

Again just my 2 cents.

2k screen plus bigger screen...
only if they radically increase the phone battery to at least 3000mah and the station battery to 8000 or more

the station got a lot of critics because of it's bulky aspect, it's too sad they did not take all that space to put a better battery
