For example for replace battery........

searched in youtube, google, in italian, english and in chineese using google: nothing.

Insert a rigid tool between the screen and the aluminium case. It's not screwed, you can only open it with force.

Source: myself, as I already did it on my PFI.

I also use a flat screwdriver. But don't forget firstly to power off and take away SIM card

Any idea on what the battery life is on a PadFone.

I Tried to dismantle my padrone station but it has a few connection s that need special tools to do . has any one had success and changed a screen

I am about to go do surgery on my padfone infinity. Likely I will ruin it, but some good pics and videos for you guys to help you with yours should be made. Wish me luck!!!

Alright, so I opened it up and got as far as I could. The pics will be coming soon for those waiting but they are not as comprehensive as I would like. For anyone expecting to repair the digitizer only, just don't since it can't be done without some serious equipment. LCD+digitizer can be replaced but cost like $200. I broke the LCD trying to fix the thing so now it is just a 10 inch tablet (got it back together and working in tablet). Thinking of buying a nexus 5 for my daily driver now since Asus has kind of been a let down. Phone was great and all, but the update issue and the lack of community (xda) support for these devices has been a downer. Still, it was fun (as a phone) while it lasted.
