+i know but but it's getting a bit late cause Android L coming up soon and i wish it will update it directly to android L casue NPFI is the best line up for padfone and syill is the last in everything
Asus isn't Sony or HTC remember. They don't really support their devices to the same extent. You've gotta keep that in mind when you buy one of their products
And they can't even manage to repair their products if they show defects. 8 month npfi, 6 weeks in service and still not back from it's third consecutive trip there ... But I love their service surveys they always ask for just one day after I returned the npfi to them again ....

+1 this, and that is why I won't be back to Asus even though I love the Padfone concept. Later this year I'll switch back to one of the big brands as letting a flagship product stay on 4.2 for this long is ridiculous. Can't even use a Wear watch as they require 4.3!
that's carzy what asus d and they price line are always top but customer service is at low as nothing i hope asus wakes up so he can maitain little customer as he has before he goes like ....
I asked to Asus Spain about Kit Kat news and they answered me that it is not expected any update for NPI.
I don't know if that is true, or they haven't idea about anything... but I am a bit worried about the update... Almost one year since Kit Kat was announced is too much. I don't have any expectation for further updates...
Somehow I begin to hope that asus support does it's usual job repairing my npfi and thus sends me back a malfunctioning device for the third time in a row so I can get rid of this nightmare device.
They are going to upgrade to kitkat really soon. At least give us zenUI. I have loads of "ZenUI updates" in google play, but I can't upgrade yet because of my firmware.
IMO I think they will give us 4.4. Wether this is the last update ever or not, I have no clue. I hope for Android 5.x, but if I had to guess, I would guess "no".
Cmon guys, this is Asus were talking about. Look at their track record. We will not get L for our NPFI's. Your best chance for L on a padfone will be on any future new models

Yes, looking at their policy, we can not be very optimistic... Frist at all we hope to have Kit Kat (cross your fingers), and afterwards we will see if they update to Android L. Up to now, they are updating two times per model or padfone version... so... we have a veryyyy small possibility.
But, as I mentioned before the first thing is if they will update to Kit Kat.
I love this concept, this is my second padfone, but sincerely, I think I will never buy any other Asus device...
