Why is the CHT update file larger than the TW file? They are not supposed to be different? Im normally on WW. Which one should I pick?

If I install the CHT, can my next update be back to WW again and everything is fine?

I'm not sure why the sizes are different, all I know is at CHT stands for Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwanese carrier), and TW just for Taiwan...

You can easily switch between different SKU's.

The random reboots have nothing to do with switching SKU's, I haven't hd any RR's on JB on my NPFI, but now after the update I've had 3 o 4 RR's...

I prefered reseting 4.2.2 before upgrading to kitkat and am not experiencing random reboots at all, stable. sure I had to reinstall all apps and data.

This could be the problem, I didn't wipe/reset before updating TW 4.2 to TW 4.4.

I haven't had random reboots but have had 3 or 4 lockups requiring a hard reboot. Seems to settle down after a few.

CHT, being a carrier specific firmware, has a lot more bloatware, that might be why its larger.

I've got the WW NPFI.

So if I wipe it and then install the TW SKU then I shouldn't have too many issues?

Give it some time.. My device seemed to lag for the first few hours, but after sometime (updates, config) it's back to smoothness.

Some things seem snappier, others do not. So overall? I'd say not really "faster" that's noticeable.

The device was already fast, and there is no performance loss... Some things might be a bit quicker, but definitely no performance loss (apart from the random reboots that is)...

I tried to install TW SKU over my WW, but the phone would recognize the xxx.user.zip file. (that is, I didn't get the notification that normally allows me to upgrade.)

I guess I have to longpress volume down + power button and istall it from there. Can someone just give me a very short step by step guide? When should i wipe? When should i clear cache? And at which point should I install the firmware?

I want to go back to WW when that is released. When the next update comes, can I just install the WW version without any reset or wipes?

Tried to install the TW version. Put the zip on the sdcard partition, rebooted into recovery, selected update from storage. But when it tried it said "Signature Verification Failed" and wouldn't install ... redownloading.

I'm also having this problem i've tried downloading both the cht and tw versions get same problem with both the file zipped and unzipped. Any solutions?
Please help i want kitkat
I have the WW version if this makes a difference.
Will this update eventually be coming ota?

As far as performance goes, there seems to be a slight drop since the KK update. Here are my Antutu scores before and after the update :
