Since we may never get a dedicated keyboard option for the PadFone 2 , I have been ordering (and sending back) a lot of universal keyboard/case/stand options to try and meet this need. I ***FINALLY*** found one that looks and works great! Maybe this message will help out other folks who are also looking for a similar solution...
Yes - The little rubber "ears" which hold the tablet in place can easily be pulled back to allow the tablet to slip out. Its also very nice that these "ears" are user fit by attaching to the actual case with velcro.
The whole thing (Keyboard and Tablet) fold up into a small book like case for transport.
Short of a real integrated Asus Transformer-like keyboard, I don't think it can get any better than this!
YAY I was dreaming of buying a high end phone and carrying a cardboar with it. ASUS should get punished for that (Hey we won't give you the keyboard, but guss what - you know the box that the station came in? You can walk around with that - how fancy huh?).
Hello ! I read in some reviews that there might be problems with the ALT GR + KEY functionnality, did you encounter this problem ? Thanks ! This looks nice !

It is a very nice design and has a very smart adjustment/fit system. It also folds up to protect the Padfone 2 and functions as a stand.
It is a TRAVESTY if Asus doesn't develop a keyboard for the PadFone 2! At least this option is a viable solution with very little compromise!
Hope this helps someone!
How did you managed to buy it? I can't seem to find one in Singapore Anyone know where to buy Kensington KEYFOLIO PRO 2 UNIVERSAL Removable Bluetooth Keyboard in Singapore?
I just received one of these today and can honestly say it is pretty good for what it is. The rubber grip does partially cover the power switch and volume down, and its also not that easy to take the phone out. That said, I don't want it to be too easy to remove - using the pad in public I've always been cautious someone could swipe the phone out - not so any more. Don't get me wrong, its far from impossible to get out, its just a snug fit. On the plus points, the case looks and feels great, the keyboard is fantastic it that you can take it out and type away however you like without it being fixed like a dock. Theres even room to attach an OTG cable with pendrive or card reader to the base of the pad and still close the case. Very happy with this case, thanks for the few recommendations here. Yes its not perfect but with a couple of slight modifications its not far from it. Hope this helps,
