I will never bought an asus phone anymore. I was werry setisfine with my previus phone (Desire HD). At the end of this year i am going back to HTC. Their products are simply the best for now.

For now!
The phone market change rapidly with CPU, GPU, Screen and additional function. Each generation of new phone last less than 6 months!

I am expecting another wave of new phone when Samsung or any vendor release curve screen technology.

DHD was my previous phone too, I gave it to my girlfriend when I bought padfone, and she broke with me after that, so no HTC phones anymore

Guys, i plan to buy a Padfone within 2 weeks. I saw mentions that it'll get JB 4.2. Is it true?

Saw mention about JB 4.2 on a page that mentioned it was a news that briefly appeared on ASUS' either Norway or Finnish Facebook page, not sure which.

It is on 4.1.2 at the moment but haven't seen any news about a upcoming update to 4.2 soon. But for instance the TF300 has gotten an update so maybe it will be here soon.

didn't ASUS pulled back the JB update due to "issues", postponting the final release? hence officialy just 4.0.4 whatever the region?

There's press indicating the pullback for versions other than CHT. I haven't seen any press indicating so for CHT. I might be wrong. However, many of us in CHT do have that version 10 update which is JB.
