Will You Buy A PadFone Infinity
I have a PadFone and will switch to the Infinity

I dont have a PadFone and I will buy a Infinity

No, I will not buy a Infinity

I was wondering if somebody is going to buy the new padfone, because it seemed like such a buzzkill for me.

I was so excited, but its so bad that even if I didn't have a PadFone 2 ... I would still have bought a PadFone 2.

Please explain your answer

I like the high res of the phone and tablet. Also the fact that it has a aluminum body make it a real premium feel. Only issue i have is the price when it goes down to about 1000 usd then ill get it until then ill keep my padfone 2

I wouldn't say it's bad, but given I already have a PadFone 2, there's no real advantage to be had by "upgrading."

If I didn't have a PadFone at all, I'd consider buying it.

Nice machine, but I have the 1st Gen Padfone and still use it daily, love it. Seems this new Infinity still will not have a docking keyboard, which is a no-no for me. And the price...

I'm thinking of an upgrade for my current PF1, and the choice is either this infinity or PF2. I'm waiting for infinity to be released, and see the review before i decided to upgrade to this or not

Though I like fancy hardware, I never feel that I must have the newest (best) thing out there, it is more about functionality. I have PF1 - it can do everything on Android I could ask for, it is still good and solid device. Besides, I bought it less than year ago and I will probably keep it atleast 2-3 more...

I like the fact that the dock has an Full HD screen but with the Padfone 2 itself I am more than happy so not planning on buying a new one soon.

Won't buy

It can't do anything my current phone can't (Nexus One). If it had a keyboard I would go for it as I could take notes with it, the only way I would give up on keyboard would be if it had a digitizer, but again no.
It's just an expensive toy and has no practical value, and for the price you can get Nexus 4 (same hardware as PF2) and you will have plenty to spend on a laptop or a proper tablet.
