The rumor is going on a while now. If have red some articles that say that there will be one but what I was wondering about is how they will lock the keyboard to the padfone station
Inside this, I will add a usb HUB and a combo USBv2-OTG&HDMI, inside the leather of this leather case. I will also enlarge the screen frame because it is too small. I also try to add a battery (XP18000 but it is bulky).
I like the integrated one with the keyboard but our tablet will only work when the padfone is inserted making the middle part bit bulky wonder if the case will fit.

That's the same concern I've been having; unlike the original PadFone, there's no long "landing strip" at the base of the PadStation2 to hold the keyboard in place securely.
I have a keyboard and mouse I bought for my Motorola Atrix 4G that works with all my android devices I have had. So I think it should work with the padfone as well. Search ebay for "Work and Play Atrix" and you can find it.
Has anyone tried out the Logitech® Tablet Keyboard for Win8/RT and Android? Looks quite nice in my opinion, have not tried it though and is curious if it's any good etc.
I think Asus have abandoned the idea altogether, having now seen that the PadFone Infinity is the same concept as the PadFone 2.
Either they've decided to encourage users to use bluetooth keyboards (which I don't really think is the case as they're not offering an official keyboard/case combo), or more likely (as much evidence suggests) they've decided to target the Apple market directly, ignoring all the features which non-Apple users find useful.
Too expensive? But if thats not an issue go for it.
I bought a cheap bluetooth keyboard for 10 - 15 euro from ebay and I am pretty happy with it. It works great and I even use it for my PC while in bed.
I also bought a bluetooth mouse, again for the PadFone and for my PC, because Im a lazy ass
My point being, you can get both for about 20 - 25 euro. And I am pretty sure they work exactly the same as the expensive ones, maybe a difference in rage.
I found this ASUS keyboard that might just work perfectly with our Padfones. It is intended for a win 8 station but will work with other stations as well.
It is a 10" keyboard with integrated touch pad, I saw one today at a consumer electronics fare in Stockholm, Sweden. It is super thin and recharges via micro usb.
For me its not worth it to spend a lot of money on these accesories, since I have a very good PC and Laptop, so I got these mostly so I can work on my PC from my bed + use them on the PadFone2 as well.
They work more than perfect. I have the mouse for several months and I haven't changed the battery even once, seriously! Keyboard for about a month and I haven't changed its batteries to. But keep in mind that I don't use them a lot. Maybe 20 minutes a day, they both are really good in preserving battery when you forget them on.
