I can confirm that you keep root with SuperSU too. The energy saving profile settings are the best idea ever. One of the best features from CM now available in our precious Padfone.

Looks like Padfone do get frequent updates from Asus.
I would personally suggest disable/freeze all the bloatware & unused system apps rather than uninstall them (if you have rooted)

Each OTA update can be maintained with rootkeeper but removed system apps will cease the update.

new here, got padfone for 3 months now, 2 ota firmware passed with charmed and root is keep. im on taiwan cht firmware and yesterday has done ota update as usual for my last time update and root still keeping as that by ota rootkeeper. te installation went well and all function wok like charm, unfortunately i come in to very critical issue so pls help out and commet if anyone got this and wgat is the solution.

once touch phone function it always shown " contact list is being updated" and it freeze like that for whole day today upto now its still not fuctional. weird is i still can answer incoming call and can manage to use contacts function to call out. but how come this phone function did not work on MOBILE SMARTPHONE!!!! pls help appreciated yours. i

Does anyone know when the update is available for firmware WW? Its kinda unfair that Asus overlook the un-taiwan version.

I just updated, I hate the fact that I cant turn kff autosync from the menu. Also the proximity senzor bug os not fixed. Power saving is kinda useless because I have juicedefender. Also, I dont see it turning off autosync at all, maybe during sleep mode.

Sounds like the phone app registry ave some problems. Would you mind to flash it again? or perform a reset?

Finally got it works, i do not know is it related or not but what i do is (in case anyone come in to the same of my problem)

1. after the problem occurs i go in the recover and do cache partition wipe
2. the problem still there. So i do Temp Unroot (by OTA rootkeeper)
3. I go back to stay at the phone function, after that 5 mins of waiting it's done and come back to the functionalities.
4. I go back to OTA root keeper to restore root. All root and functionality come back with full rooted.

Did anybody notice the Vibrate option in the quick menu has just disappeared? I hate this change and also the removal of Auto-Synch

the auto sync is a miss but you can still activate vibration mode by just long press on the on button

You're right actually, but I usually disable wifi, autosync and turned off vibrate all at once when going out and it had become a reflex. Oh well, time for new neural pathways

By the ways, the Asus website says the Smart Contacs search feature was optimized, anyone know what that is?
Later edit: also there are New languages suported by Google voice, including dictation. Romanian has been added but there are far more New languages.

Not sure where you talk about rotation, but 180 rotation works in MX Player
