i suspect they refuse to develop the keyboard because it would make the phone worth billions of dollars and they would destroy the market for TF series. So there would be no hope for future PF to be like 1st gen.
All their docks are pretty much the same, they can easliy develop one for 100/150 euros and just make it an optional accessory... I really need robust keyboard with that extra battery power...
Really silly if they think a bluetooth keyboard will cut it, there's plenty of good bluetooth keyboards out there (which screams MORE COMPETITION! Why are they even going down that path? >.<) So if it's not dock-able or connected seamlessly as with PF1 and no extra ports and extra battery juice, it won't really entice me getting one until the station and phone can have 2+ days of battery life even with bluetooth, wifi /4G on as it would with my PF1.
i think that guy is just saying it for that moment. even himself admitted that there are a lot of products in that market already. the fact is they have no plan for it but the guy had to say something...
yes and they will be making a bluetooth mouse too, if you are interested, you can buy that in 3 years...

Reminds me a lot of the movie "Fun with Dick and Jane," where an employee's effectively designated as the scapegoat, thrown out to face the media without enough facts so he has to make stuff up as he goes along.
I think we all know how much sense it makes right, why design a bluetooth keyboard when the market is saturated with third party stuff all cheap and sound.
i rather them use the money to keep the patch support up instead...
