I think we already have some good devs...And the unlocking tool carry us more people ...Ubuntu run in a virtual machine under Android but someone that have the ability must configure the script for starting it and for have all working...There is another post in the development section...
Sorry for bothering, but my Padfone 1 died after installing Goomanager and OpenRecover, then it restarted. It sayes #invalid kernel!# Why is that? And I cant get into recovery anymore.
Am I right, that I only can save one backup? Whenever I create a new one the former one is not available in "restore".... I guess I am completely blind...
Edit: never mind.just choose the wrong folder.....
I have rooted and unlocked padfone with Jb4.1 and im not able to install open recovery. Tried with goomanager, but i guess they disabled that option due the issues. Has anyone tried with a fastboot?
How exactly do I get into this application? I've successfully unlocked my bootloader (I think, don't know how to confirm it). Then I went and installed goomanager and followed the steps described in the first post. This all succeeded without errors.
When I restart my phone with Vol+ held, I see "Fastbood Mode !!!" and the phone locks. After taking out the battery and putting it back in, it starts like normal.
any instructions? Right now, there's no way of really finding out how things work except for tinkering by oneself. It's more comfortable to have a step-by-step guide, if anyone could be so kind to make it.
