I did use the kitchen to compile it, but I did tweak a lot without it...

I installed the SR007 and it has no more screen lock when power button is pressed.

I didn't change anything there, and everything works fine for me... Maybe you should try formatting the cashes...

Before anything, thanks for your effort and work in doing more for our PadFones, when those stupid on Asus, simply wants to sell and sell hardware, forgetting to support the software...

Allow me to ask if you have a feature log for this SR007 (not 6, I guess). The above list, looks like an intentions list and not a pure feature/changes list.

Another question: Can I help you on supporting/testing or even developing this ROM?

I'm not really actively developing this ROM anymore due to lack of time...

The featurelist is the entire list, SR007 inherits all features of the previous versions...

If you want to improve the ROM you can always contact me...

Hi everyone!
Here is the thing.
I have an 10.2.1.9 RUS and I guess I should install PadFone_SR005-10.2.1.9_CHT.zip
But is it possible to install some of the above versions?
I'm really heaving troubles with overheating (can't even touch the back panel) and random reboots after 4.1.1 update (few reboots per day - ANNOYING!). So I just hope these update can help. Are they?

UPD

Can't install even 2.1.9.
Installation aborted after "Verifying update package"
Probably because I have a RUS vers.
actually it have even crashed some "coding" and Padfone asked for full wipe...No data and no update
Any ideas?

Hey SparkyRih, Any specific reason for using the CHT version other than the WW not being available at the time?

Does it make any difference at this point? I'm thinking of upgrading since I want the newest firmware. I'm currently still using Pandorum, and it's not working very well.

Hi, I have a problem with this ROM, sometimes I can't run only 5 apps that I have bouhght from the playstore, I have this message "unfortunately, com.maxmpz.audioplayer.unlock has stopped", and the same thing with ezpdf, guitartapp, trains timetable.
Only the apps that I have purchased, because the others free apps run ok.. How is it possible?
If I reboot the padfone, everything is ok...

You can start with the Android Kitchen, see how everything works... But if you really want to develop, you need really need development skills...

I'm using the CHT because that's my original SKU... The difference between both is that the CHT version has a 1.5GB large partition for storing maps for the default nav app...

Maybe you should try resetting the Padfone... Through time upgrading and change the firmware can cause these kind of issues...

First of all: Congratulations for your great work.

I have 3 questions before I try to flash my PadFone A66 with one of your ROM`s:

1.) My installed ROM ist the latest official WW_PadFone-10.2.1.9-0 (Android 4.1.1). Can I use your SR007-10.5.1.4_WW ROM to flash my PadFone (because the other ROM`s are "CHT-Versions")?

2.) Which Android-Version have your ROM`s?

3.) Is the german language included in your ROM`s?

I am using the latest SR007 ROM, so maybe I can answer your questions.

1) You should be fine flashing the SR007 WW ROM since you currently have a WW build installed. Just make sure you unlock the bootloader before doing anything. And do NOT use goomanager to flash TWRP. Use fastboot instead.

2) 4.1.1, since it is based on the latest official Asus FW.

3) Yes, it is.

I have a problem with the flash of the SR007-10.5.1.4_WW. The PadFone is rootet and the Asus Bootloader (Unlock_A66.apk) is installed and was explained. However, with a boot in the Fastboot mode (Volume - & Power) and the change in the SD download mode I get Rom not indicated. The Rom is indicated neither on the external SD nor on the internal SD.

What do I make wrong?
