Porting CM is a bit difficult, and building it from scratch will be too long for now. I will maybe do this later.
For the features, I do many ROMs for one reason : for you to be able to choose the rom you need, and not the ROM I want you to use. I doesn't take much time to make a ROM based on the PandoreEdition Base, 5, maybe 10 minutes for adding an app isn't too much.
And building my ROM from scratch let me choose whatever I want to be inside.
Well done 666dsa666! I have not tried yet, but about the launcher, I personally think the best is... Windows Phone 8!!! The "philosophy" of the tiles is much better than the "launcher". I tried the WP8 app in play market, from XDA, but there was some conflicts between WP8, PFLauncher and DDS, so I stop to use it, but the experience with the tiles is much better IMHO. Instead WP8 tiles, I think stock launcher is not too bad. Ciao, Stefano
following things did I recognize after just a few minutes testing:
- USB (incl debugging)notification in French?! - X-plore crashes on start - missing ASUS backup app (will install 3rd party app) - even if I downloaded the v1.01 version w/0 Garmin I got to version w/ Garmin (I noticed that already in the title of the download) - on first setup upon boot there is now option for input method available (not a big issue) - IMO "clean master" not necessary for preinstalling - the preinstalled app "mirror" or "Spiegel" (in German) is not that usefull and should be removed - E-Mail app should be removed - is there a reason why no gAPPs are included? which one should I use and where can I download it?
For now I will go back to the stock ROM but I am willing to test further versions and as soon as I have more time I will test the ROM more intensive.

-French notifications : Will check this Thanks for the information. -X-plore work fine here :S -I have maybe made a mistake due to my slow connection. Will check tonight -Now option for input is normal, there is only one keyboard left -I thought clean master was cool -Mirror is part from the Camera app, will try to replace it -E-Mail was deleted, but there is no way for you to get it back but flashing or replacing it, so I thought I should let it be, maybe I should not... -You can download all GAPPS from the Play store, deleting them let you choose the one you want/need
Thank you for your feedback !

I pretty love the WP8 style too, but I will not make it the default launcher
If there has to be a third party launcher involved (other than a modded stock one) , I personally think Apex is the best choice. I think in general that apks like mirror etc, should be left as is (except from bloatware) , if someone 's personal taste says otherwise then it' s very easy to throw them away. And there is a definite need for the Asus e-mail apk & widget, so hands off that one.. The difficult part is to add things and functions, not disable or throw them away.. .;-)
I like the approach to delete gAPPs and install them manually if needed. To consistently follow this idea you should remove x-plore, e-mail, mirror and clean master as well - as lean as possible...
another idea: I actually do not like the ASUS keyboard and it is bothering me all the time that i can not deactive it (even with otehr keyboards installed). Is it possible to substitute the ASUS keyboard with swype?
I really appreciate that thanks to the unlock-tool and devs like you I am getting even more in love with that device

you do know that whatever you don't like you can simply uninstal.. even system apk's.. right?

Asus Keyboard is already deleted in my rom, so you just have to download Swype. I left only the AOSP Keyboard.
I think you're right for Xplore clean-master etc... I will delete them, and let you download them if you need.

Apex is really buggy, I don't know why, after 2-3 restart I get an empty desktop, and the only thing I can do is go to settings, and force close it, and once I get on the launcher, all my modifications are gone...

actually not (I'm pretty unexperienced regarding root possibilities) - will try this
