Has anyone heard anything about 4.2 on the PadFone 2?
Also I saw some videos on the new camera app on YouTube and I didn't see spherecam. What do you think? Will they skip the only feature that is worth updating to 4.2?
Yeah, it's taking ages.. when the Transformer Pad got 4.2 some months ago I read that Asus became the first company offering a 4.2 upgrade for a 4.1 product and that they were somewhat known for delivering fast updates.. that got my hopes up, but it seems like it was in vain..

Lol, the only device running 4.2 which isn't a nexus device is the Galaxy S4, so Asus might still be able to be first with 4.2 after the S4.
I just guess its 4.2 because there are features that aren't on the PadFone 2 4.1

The first to OFFER AN UPDATE from 4.1 to 4.2, the S4 is with 4.2 by default.

Yes well of course, but I was referring to phones, not tablets, that had received the 4.2 update, which in that case, none have. And no that video is from the PadFone Infinity, running 4.1.
I don't remember... they said something that the PadFone Infinity programmers and the PadFone 2 are the same and the Infinity will receive 4.2 in May so is the PadFone 2!

I said that it's the same team working on both devices, and that Asus are trying to get 4.2 ready for launch-day in Sweden. So hopefully the Infinity will get 4.2 at the end of May, with the PadFone 2 following shortly.

I think widgets on lockscreen is worth upgrading too.
Many sources believe that we'll have it in Q2 2013 so we won't have to wait that long. I also reckon this will be the last update for PadFone 2. 4.1 update was the last update for the original PadFone after PadFone 2 was released, and now that PadFone Infinity is released, it all makes sense..
