That's a minor version difference, I don't think the WW and HK are that much different, but you have a point on the storage disadvantage of the CHT build...

I probably make a WW copy when I'm happy with this one...

Maybe porting PF2's audio wizard is easier than other audio mods.

@666dsa666 what is your problem with the OpenVPN? I'm using it from the moment I have the PadFone and it works like a charm.

Sorry, OpenVPN is on my "always needed on a phone feature", and I added it to this list too, but it is already implemented
Thanks you

Do you have a link for the application ?
Will try to give it a try

The rom doesn't seems to be deodexed... All odex file are still there so : The rom isn't deodex or isn't cleaned.

EDIT : Ok, so the .odex files are deleted in the rom installation zip, but are created once the rom installed...

No, if you've already had the newest 4.1.1official rom then just flash it without wiping /data partiton.

Wiping is always recommended
Don't forget to make a backup of your current rom

@dave62000: Wiping is not really necessary...

@zozotintin: Thanks for the tip, I didn't know about that feature on the PF2, even tried getting it in my ROM, the libs don't seem to be that hard to implement, but I can't get the app to even show up :S

So how is your ROM development coming along?

I'd love to see a nicely tweaked Android 4.2 CWM ROM. I can understand that it would be difficult for you to get it tweaked because you're not that experienced yet, but it's raelly good to see there's finally a custom ROM available!

I'm currently running the lastest WW firmware, with root already in place. It's also been bootloader unlocked and I installed the goomanager and recovery thing.

Would I be able to install this ROM on top of my current one, without losing all apps, settings and data?

@SparkyRih i just flashed the the SR005-10.2.1.9 CHT ROM and somehow Hami,@vibe, Zinio are still there. I tried updating the SU binary from Superuser, but it kept on failing in giving root. When i checked root checker basic, nothing comes up. Do you know what might've caused it?

My bad, solved the root problem. I went to recovery and fixed the root and all is good. Problem is, Hami, @vibe, and Zinio are still there. Are there any way to remove those?

Hami, @vibe, and Zinio can all be disabled in the settings>apps easily. Vibe may be a bit tricky, you might need to uninstall the update first but doable. Did this from my PF1.

I allso get all Hami apps, and i have some small issues with graphic, when i'm on tablet.

I would be verry happie if someone could fix the FM radio app. It stops play radios when u turn off display.

Otherwise it is great too see some development here...
Yust keep up the good work...

If you updated the apps in the past you will still have them... just uninstall the updates and they're gone...

Will update my ROM to the latest FW version including some new tweaks as soon as it rolls out on the Asus site...

Hi, Sparky:
Tried to install your latest SR006 in my unrooted WW ROM with bootloader unlocked but failed when it was aborted after verifying update package. Did I miss any step ? I have no problem to move from CHT to WW previously....
