Since Asus is the one who makes the nexus 7, they should have the codes of 4.3 earlier than other companies, but why they are slower then the other ? Really don't understand... just don't get it...

I think it is very hard to make software for padfone, since clean android do not support dynamic switching.

Asus is pretty fast on all other devices

exciting although the benchmark results was terrible...

They should at least get it on par with a80. Why are only Apple creating good and small phones?

If updates are that important to you, I would go for Nexus 5. It also seems like HTC is really making an effort to get updates out. They have promised 4.4 to HTC One within 90 days.

If it's only for the updates, any phone with a community and custom roms will do.

I personnaly would prefer Xperia Z1. I already had an experience with Xperia phones (had a T before my Infinity) and I liked it, except for their dynamic contrast/brightness thing.

I am on exactly the same page, need the update for MiraCast... now I have given up. I got Nexus 5. quick and easy on both delivery and wallet.

My infinity is now sim-less and sitting there. i am only back to check occassionaly if any updates is available to determine how smart is my nexus 5 purchase.

might be not for too long till it came to PFI since the schedule is the same Q3 2013(which it has passed )

Admiring your positivity my friend. Keep it up.

Now that I am using nexus 5 I have noticed that PFI might have weaker receitpion issue. On the same sim card My nexus 5 is picking up both 4g and WiFi connection which was considered as black spots with my PFI.

Asus just announced that they will expand production line because their profit shrink 26%. I'd say learn to keep your customer happy the profit will look after it self. Look at htc ... They produced so many phone models and how did it work out for them?

Absolutely right. The update policy from Asus (promise, don't deliver, then keep quiet) is really bad.
