Is the WIFI bug actually gone? The bug had to do with the kernel of past Android version. When you were on WIFI and the phone would switch from the first access point to the second (like at schools and offices with huge wifi range) the phone would reboot.
I also didn't experience this at all in 4.1, and since theres 3 access points where i live i would have noticed this if it was something with the firmware. I'm not sure though. Did the KitKat update fix it?
Finally got my phone and updated my phone to the latest KitKat version. Very good and solid OS. Only thing annoying me is the instant dictionary. When I put it on "off" it automatically sets back on "on". Anyone know how to perm disable instant dictionary?
If you didn't set up your phone, try to factory reset it. It should solve it.
Has nothing to do with that. It's a issue of Asus Keyboard.
I want to upgrade my Padfone 2 to kit kat version, But I read some issue in internet such as: the phone is turned off and did not turn on again, the camera didn't work, display problems, the phone did't work normally or its speed is very low, etc Are these issues correct? Do you have any good experiment when you upgrade it? At last do you proposed me to upgrade it or not?
Upgraded to KitKat around a month ago and my launcher keeps crashing.. Most of the times when I press the home button, the phone just becomes a black screen then the notification that the launcher crashed.. Anyone else experienced the same?

Hi I upgraded my padfone 4.4.2 but I have a vibration in display. what I can do?
You both should try factory reset, and then you should again install new firmware. And yes, you will loose all data, so back-up.
Hi, I do factory reset but I have this issue yet, how I can install new firmware? I only do factory reset but the vibration already remain.
We are in KitKat thread! So I guess you've already installed one of the firmwares. Go to options in your phone and find your current firmware. It's probably WWE. Go to Asus homepage, find padfone 2, go to support, android and find newest WWE firmware. Extract it to phone, and when you disconnect cable, it will inform you there is new firmware.
P.S. if you already did this, you may have faulty device that needs repair
